It was the summer of 2009. Japan's monsoon season was extremely long with record rainfall throughout the country. The intense humidity didn't help and the much anticipated summer holiday was turning out to be a bummer.

Since it was so damp outdoors, laundry was hanging all over the place inside Funky and BooBoo's houses. Without places to play inside or outside, the two cheery canines weren't too happy.

The only ones who didn't mind the rainy season were Grandpa Funky and Grandpa BooBoo. They owned a busy electronics shop in town. If they weren't selling fans and a/c units, they had plenty of orders to go fix broken ones.

To earn some pocket money Funky and BooBoo decided to work part time for their elders. Funky delivered fans to customers while BooBoo helped fix a/c units in houses with his grandpa.
